April 2010 Grant Awards

In April Shetland Charitable Trust funded 9 grants with a total amount of £10,388. 

There was one Development Grant awarded to:

• Westsandwick Public Hall - to assist with the costs of purchasing tables for the hall.

There were seven Senior Citizens' Club Grants awarded to:

• Burra Isle Senior Citizens Club - annual running costs March 2010 - Feb 2011
• Scalloway Good Companions - annual running costs Jan 2010 - Dec 2010
• Shetland Probus Club - annual running costs Jan 2010 - Dec 2010
• South Mainland Community Association - Senior Citizens - annual running costs April 2010 - Mar 2011
• Unst Senior Leisure Club - annual running costs April 2010 - Mar 2011
• Whalsay Senior Citizens Club - annual running costs March 2010 - Feb 2011
• Yell Senior Leisure Club - annual running costs April 2010 - March 2011

There was one Shetland Arts Fund Grant awarded to:

• Shetland Needleworkers - to assist with costs of holding embroidery workshops in May 2010.
