February 2010 Grant Awards
In February Shetland Charitable Trust funded 10 grants with a total amount of £19,239.
There were eight Shetland Arts Fund Grants awarded to:
- Anne Eunson - to assist with costs of attending an Mbira couse in Dunkeld
- David Marsh - to assist with costs of attending a masterclass in Afro-Cuban drumming and percussion in Fife
- Deborah Adamson - to assist with costs of taking part in the National Children's Orchestra of Scotland String Training Course in Perth
- Islesburgh Photographic Club - to help with costs of purchasing new frames to display photographic work at exhibitions
- Jacqueline Clark - to assist with the costs of "Da View fae me Window" project
- Lois Nicol - to assist with costs of participating in Ethno Festival in Sweden
- Malachy Tallack - to assist with costs of travel to Canada and Alaska as research for a writing project focusing on '60 Degrees North'
- Serpentine Drama - to present two plays in the Garrison Theatre "Will Shu" and "Shetland in nae mair as sixty meenutes"
There was one Support Grant awarded to:
- Burra Playgroup - to help with running costs from 1 Aug 09 - 31 July 10
There was also one Support to Youth Centres grant awarded to:

Sandveien Neighbourhood Centre - to assist with the Centre and Youth Club's annual running costs 1 Sept 09 - 31 Aug 10
